What-to-do-list after Diploma !

Assalamualaikum everyone!

finally I have finished my diploma (25th March 2013)! really? Omg really? believe me! You. Better. Be. Okay to be honest I haven't officially finish it yet. of course  without convocation, it's not even called over yet. pffftt. so i say at least I am eligible to say "Good bye assignments, good bye presentations, good bye tutorial Qs and good bye waking up early-to-go-to-classes!" yes that busy life is over. now its time to something different kind of busy life which we call the work routine!

yes, but before that lets just not get too excited about work and let's focus on what I want to do after diploma. there are so many things i wanna do, so many to talk about. but as you know i am not a good writer so i can see this might end up just like my other posts which are short and simple. Sobs. bad writer I am.

anyways back to the list, I will now jot down all the stuff I wanted to do (and probably have done). so here it goes~!

The man I wanted to see the most in G.I. Joe Retaliation but ended up appearing for just like the first 10-15 minutes *depressed*

I Want To:

1. Design stickers and sell online.
2. Bake some healthy energy bars.
3. Experiment my new dessert recipe.
4. watch G.I Joe Retaliation (done)
5. rearrange room furniture (done)
6. decorate room like Etude House 
7. eat bibimbap with friends
8. make more covers on girl group (friggin hard)
9. learn more long hijab style
10. save up money for trip to Korea.
11. find a korean guy and get married (LOL)
12. Open a cafe one day. (Mhmmm)
13. Diet ---> 65kg by September (>__<)
14. read more books on cooking. learn the right techniques.
15. snap a group photo with Vlads
16. buy 2 bunnies (done ^^ Toki & Kimchi)
17. taking korean and french language classes.
18. convocation
19. distribute my old clothes to the in need centers
20. make my parents proud with all my list-to-do :)

As you can see above, I like to do more hands -on things or involving skills. I find it more fun and enjoying rather than thinking too much to please others. I would like to have my own label soon. Either by designing or baking or even my cafe. its just something I dreamed of for so long. InsyaAllah with Allah's will i may open a cafe with my brothers and it will be like a family business. they might be busy with their own work, but I will be the one running it. as usual the youngest brother will be like the marketing manager or just the general manager because he is so good with critiques ><

lol i am thinking too much about the future and not even done anything to do with the recipes yet.

about the korea trip, i really hope it will happen. buya even set the date ady! actually the korean eco organization ady set the meeting date. and all left for me is to collect money to spend there. i just hope I will enjoy everything there despite the cold weather. I even asked my mom to follow me to SM building. tho i hate some of SM traits but SHINee is still under Sm so I just want to stop by. you know, maybe, just maybe I might bump into them? hehehe

later, I will post about Toki and Kimchi. right now I am just tired. Good Bam yeom~! ^^

p/s: i still have my theory exam on the 8th of April. Shhh!

Ma Dream Boys, SHINee is Back!

ASSALAMUALAIKUM

As promoted by SM Ent. SHINee will have their comeback on the 19th February which was yesterday. The album itself (Chapter 1 : Misconceptions of You) was described as the continuation from their previous hit track Sherlock (Clue+ Note). Their new concept is black suit and colourful. lots of floral pants i tell ya! its a very bright and up beat song to listen to. just by listening to it make me want to dance. Haha. psst! there will be a Chapter 2 : Misconception of Me, for sure I'll buy that one too! 

Onew is very lucky to be the main cover of Chapter 1 and his song in the next album Chapter 2 :D

each member starts to shine in their own way now. i mean seriously, their clothes doesnt sync at all (except for the black suit ofcourse). Onew have been in green lately. yeah all green. Haha. Key as expected the diva in the group with high fashion sence. the red jacket and green shoes just pinned my eyes. such colour blocking but looks good on him. as for Jjong, his hair and white floral pants is just eye catching. even my mom got surprised! O.O Minho as expected always look good in everything and his tux suits him best! Since I am 92 er, Taemin is considered nam dongsaeng and yes he has grown up well! His yellow long coat is the most contrast among all the costumes. way to go boy!

Onew got some cute pose in the MV. yes he is getting muscular lately but those cute expressions cover it up! Yeayy JINKI OPPA! and keep go green, it goes well with you. thos it makes you look a bit chubby. Hahah (you're tofu-ness never disappear)

Livin Like A Boss

Assalamualaikum,

Its been 4 days after my last paper which was Food and Bevergae Costing (which i repeat) and now I'm at my home sweet home. Living in Dungun is not that bad but I really like it at home. WHy? Wanna know why? because I can do anything as I pleased. I love to bake and that is one of the best part being at home. After baking / cooking ofcourse we have to eat it right? and that seems to be my main trouble. EATING.

Non-stop munching. tch tch

Yesterday I went through one of the baking recipe books and remembered seeing some apples in the referigerator, i decided to make something with the apples. Apple crumble cake was my choice. This where I went wrong. I expected all the ingredients was there. Firstly I peel and diced the apples and then soak it with salt water. Meanwhile the apples soaking I made the crumbles. After all done it's time to make the cake and guess what? there was no egg. yes EGG, the friggin eggs! I called ummi as soon as i realize about the missing eggs. 

Ummi said she'll buy it but to wait for ummi it will take like 3 hours. So i think and think. what to do with these ready ingredients? I open the freezer hoping there to be some pastry dough, and yes! there it is, the puff pastry dough! so instead of the Apple Crumble Cake, I changed it to Fruit Jealousy. To add some flavour to it i spread some nutella spread and scoop some cookie dough ice cream. Voila!

Besides food, I love being home because of the fast internet line! yippie! KPOP, come to mama! lately I am not interested to many groups and my eyes are pinned on MBLAQ especially Jio. He is not your average korean guy. trust me. 

Being home, just being there you can be like the boss. yeah, just by lying down it makes a total difference than lying in your hard bed in the hostel. Tho I sleep on the floor, it feels softer and much comfort than anywhere else. and ofcourse the best part of being home is to be with your family. I am happy that my brother and I are studying at the same university that our holidays tend to be the same (except who finish exams first ofc).

My holidays till d-day for practical is only 7 days gap and its not funny I tell ya. So little time to spend my 'livin like a boss' moment. Oh well, that's how life goes. Gotta live with it. Hope my new practical place would be fun and exciting. Pray for my safety and well being guys!

Taking A Break !

After almost 3 years striving for my diploma, finally it is my final year now and alhamdulillah i have made this far. There was too much going on since the first semester and I managed to get through it. The closer towards the end, the tougher it gets. the subject, the assignments, the drama, all are tough and when it is put in the same time, imagine how rough it gets.

Now i am currently taking a break and spending my holiday study week at home. Some may say, "you are wasting your time at home, wasting your money too," well let me tell you something, staying home is not a waste of time. I could have a comfortable place to do revision and the facilities are complete, and as for expenses, you don't have to pay for food here at home and the best part it is homemade food! not the cycle menu at the cafeteria. seriously I'm getting bored with the food served but what else to eat than that?

however there is this habit of mine that is hardly resistible.....

finally on the 5th of August 2012 when the clocks ticks at 12am I am officially 20 years old (according to english calender) I was so excited and waited for text wishes from friends and families. Nowadays text messages birthday wishes means a lot more than just wishes in facebook. Im not saying birthday wishes in facebook is meaningless but everyone who is a friend of mine if facebook will get the info about my birthday without asking.

However text messages is usually from those who remembered my birthday (well, hope so).

This year birthday is filled with surprises and presents! I am flattered!

KARAH The Movie - UiTM Dungun

ASSALAMUALAIKUM

firstly I'd like to say thank you so muchies to my dear friend Fareeda for buying 12 tickets in total for us to watch Karah. Though something awkwardness happened earlier before we went to the venue, I'm not gonna talk about that. Whatever it is, Fareeda did try her best to get the tickets, appreciate her effort please.

Okay, let's start talking about 'KARAH The Movie'. When we arrive at Dewan Kuliah Anggerik, the crew was unready. something was wrong with the audio system so we were transferred to Dewan Kuliah Bakawali. My oh my, it was almost full. Good thing Kak Eija, E, Fareeda and I got the 3rd row seat, nice view.

The movie started with a scene a guy looking for his friend named Man. He opened the door to one of the classes in Karah. It was filled with blood. and Man was lying on the floor, smothered with blood! scaryyy! 

4 hours before...... 

"hye nama saya Sam!" said faiz. the main character was recording himself through his own camera. the camera was given by his parents. then he viewed his bedroom, IT WAS FRIGGIN MESSY! then after preparing himself he went to look for his friend Man at his room. before that he saw someone who was at the public phone. He looked sooo NERDY! "jangan la kacau kita, kita nak cakap dgn mak kita," haha it was so cute and funny. after calling Man, they both walk to Karah. but before that they called Bi and Zara to ask where they were. 

Bi told that they were at the small, dark food stall. I wonder why they have to be somewhere dark? haiyaa. Sam was still recording until they were infront of Karah to do their assignment. when he recorded Zara's speech (she requested for one) there was an old lady walking behind her. Sam was trembling and start to doubt about their meeting place. Man, Bi and Zara said it was all nonsense and asked him to stop talking about it. not long after that Haziq came. Haziq reminded me of Man (a friend of mine). Once they started the discussion, Haziq said he wanted to go to the toilet.

Man went to look for him with Sam's new camera in his hand. Haziq was quite tanned that scared the hell out of us when he appeared in front of Man all of the sudden. I could even hear some guys screamed. LOL. when both of them get back into the class, Man who denied about what Sam saw previously saw something while he was recording. it was a guy standing behind Sam (i think) who was stabbed and blood all over him. YIKES!

Okay I'm not gonna say no more, you guys should watch it!

It was funny, scary and awesome! what do u expect from a new production team? so I'd say BRAVO to the crew for this short movie! 

I'm not being biased but Sam's acting was superb! the part when he was scared, the trembling voice. Naiseu! and Zara's psycho acting !!!! *thumbsup*

Le Dream Guy,

ASSALAMUALAIKUM

Recently I giddily asked my friends about their 'lelaki idaman' which means dream guy. each and every of them described their own dream guy. Some even answered shortly with their boyfriend's name. So sweet. I did described mine and my oh my it was quite long. I demand so much in life even my dream guy. but those are all the criteria I'd like to have in the future husband-to-be, and it doesn't mean all of the criteria mentioned needs to be in him.

My fate was made long before I was born. So with who I will be with is really beyond my knowledge. Only Allah knows who is the best one for me. If he is still alive, i hope to meet him soon on this very earth, however if it is fated he will leave me before we even meet then all I can do for him is pray for him to be placed in the highest heaven with all the ummah that treasure Iman in their hearts. May Allah reunite us in jannah.

Okay back to the dream guy topic. Here are the criteria:

Why All Of The Sudden?

Yesterday, A friend of mine told me something that made me jaw dropped. Someone asked her the kind of Qs that i don't even know where did they get the idea to even ask. the Qs was :

"Ummairah couple dgn A ka?"

once i heard the words she said I sort of twitched. How on earth did this news been spread? LOL joking! I have nothing to do with A. We are only friends. There is no lovey dovey thing going on. If they take me as a 'halangan' to get to him, sorry but by all means help yourself. A and I have no bonds or relationship attached.

He is a good friend but just a friend. we don't even talk face to face other than saying 'hye'. if we happened to bump to each other we will only smile, yes smile.

we don't talk, neither greet.

Guys like him I wont chase after. I respect him.

Nominated and Voted as Bendahari D'Hoteliers,

ASSALAMUALAIKUM,

Just like previous semesters, D'Hoteliers will have AGM (Annual Grand Meeting). usually we will use the badminton court hall to held the meeting, but for this semester all is prepared if the table tennis hall. it was friggin hot plus the noise. but i'll never get tired with AGM because the spirit of Culinarians can never be compared.

Previously 3 days back from the AGM, we (the part5 seniors) organized a mini-induction for the part 1 Culinarians. We prepared some interesting games but since the attendance was not as expected and becaise of the time limit, we decide to play only 2 games, 'Qs VS Qs' and 'telefon buruk'. glad the ones who attend had fun and from there i knew some of the juniors and we will greet everytime we meet. We even told them to wear the culinarian scarf (maroon colour) to show that we are unite while voting!

okay back to the main topic, Ili Balkis, my coursemate called out my name for the treasurer nominations and honestly i dont want it because i've been the treasurer for the dinner (semester3) and it was so hard. they told me to wait out of the hall while all the voting been made. when i re-enter the hall, my name was up. WTH? I composed my self and mind set that these people put their trust on me to handle their money. so yes, i try to put a positive view on this one.

its been a while since i update this blog. Today i'm going to talk about my food indulgance towards indian cooking has risen at Hadrabad. I am not a good talker and its 3am now so i'll just make this short.

my mother wanted to treat us something for the weekend so she decided to use her groupon for lunch at hadrabad. I thot the restaurant would be like Hadramawt. classy and elegant. it turned out to be an enclosed dining area with air condition. since we were using groupon the menu is sort of fixed but still we can choose the side dishes. It has been a while since i ate mutton so i've decided to order mutton briyani.


everything was delicious, although the service is very low. The final product coukd change tsuch intense mood.

The full dish. also got kebab :)

Dekan ke ?

Alhamdulillah, itu lah perkataan pertama yg terungkap kat bibir aku mase tengok result yang terpapar di screen laptop. lepas tu baru lah aku cakap OMG OMG OMG,! haha nak nangis pun ade. Aku dekan wey sem ni! cop! dekan ke der? okay referring to gpa yes aku dekan, but cgpa, jauh sekali. 

asalnya aku memang tak mengharapkan dekan. setakat 3 pointer sudah memadai sebab pada aku dengan usaha aku yang tak seberapa, dekan tu amat lah jauhnya sekali. yea lah, report aku last minit baru siapkan. tukang menyemaknya pulak Miss Mel, yang aku ingatkan fierce and arrogant. tapi bila tengok markah yg dia bagi kat aku, alhamdulillah rupanya dia pemurah. so dont judge the book by its cover guys.

sebenarnya kan, sebenarnya lah, result saya tu kan, naik 0.01 point je dh boleh dpt A. tapi Allah nak tunjukkan bahawa aku kene usaha lebih keras dan jangan ambil mudah dengan keputusan yang aku terima. lepas ni aku azam nak belajar dengan lebih sistematik. tak boleh nak sambil lewa je. aku ni banyak sangat hobi, aku kene susun masa dengan baik utk fulfil kan 'wants and needs' aku so tak rugi di mana mana bahagian.

okay okay, mesti korg nak tau sangat result aku berapakan? dari asyik bebel baik aku tunjuk je. NAH! so siapa yg dah tengok jangan tanya lagi. aku tak suka jawab soalan "result dapat berapa?" biarlah markah tu tinggi/ rendah. Sekian wassalam :)

Daesung ; The Smile Guy

As written above, its clearly stated that i will talk something Daesung related. Well its not only Daesung related, its a post all about Daedae. Firstly I'd like to start when and how I knew about him. It all started when my friend Anisah showed me the video Lollipop CF. At that time my eyes were all on Taeyang since he was like very orangy and doin his grooves. I saw Daedae but didn't pay much attention to him.

HOW & WHEN?

Then I saw the video Haru Haru, still my eyes weren't on him, it went to TOP. LOL. I actually really fall for him when i watch the show Family Outing (feature : Jaesuk, Hyori, Jongkook, etc.) at KBSW. It was a very funny show and i enjoy it. the part where Dae caught my eyes was when they played a game where they need to carry a girl and pass it to other member. It was like passing baton. I remembered Hyori was being hard on every man in the game but she pity Daesung and let him carry her easily. that scene caught my attention tho i know there's not much special about it.

SINGING & MUSIC VIDEO

Then the song 'Let Me Hear Your Voice' was released. and thet's when i realized he was actually a good singer. despite the innocent look in reality shows, he really look matured in the music video. After that I was introduced to their song TONIGHT. In that song i can see how Dae tried to look as manly as he could. It was a simple video. But i can see Dae's effort. Big Bang is known for not having much of a choreography (except for taeyang) So i havent seen much of Dae's dance on stage, but dances in reality shows are abundant ! Haha. he know several girl group dance moves. He is such a versatile entertainer. 

ATTRACTIONS

As all know, Dae is famous for his smile. whenever he smiles his eyes will disappear and people will automatically melt. either a girl or a boy you will surely fall for his cuteness and innocence. He is the brightness in the YG Family, he can make an angry person stop being angry with his smile. I wonder what kind of aura does he have. Oh yea not to forget, i do agree to the statement once that Dae and Minzy (2NE1) are look-a-like

previously on the year 2011, Dae was involved in an accident. I dont want to talk much about it, but glad that he got full support from his family. They were always there for him. He is fine now and back with the boys with their new album ALIVE. enjoy folks!

Darabif ; IOI Mall

How is everyone doing? me doing fine. been eating a lot lately. and yet i wonder to my self how could I get thinner. Need to diet but i haven't found that first stepping stone yet. who will be that stepping stone? i myself dont know. okay now lets talk about food. Oh my long loveeee! without you i'd be depressed. Hew hew hew.

My ummi loves to buy things at Groupon, and i must say it is a fine place to get cheaper price for something that really worth something. She will normally choose food coupons. Darabif was in the list so she decided to bring me and my brother to have a bite of Darabif's burgers. at first i thought Darabif was some kind of restaurant that is more ethnic style, the middle-eastern cuisine and such. found out that it was a fast food restaurant. its like A&W without the curly fries. Hoho

my brother volunteered to order the food so my mom asked us to order smartly. each of us order different patties, so we could taste each and every type of it. I ordered chicken burger *cough*double*cough* ummi ordered beef burger and umair ordered lamb burger. In my mind i thought lamb should be the most delicious one because i am a fan of lamb meat/muttons. 

however it turned out that mine tastes better than any of the burgers. so i am not disappointed. 

You should try some of it. Support Malaysian products !

Lemon Cake ; all time favourite

Hari ni nak type dalam bahasa melayu boleh? Haha. Myra happy sangat Lemon Cake yang suka sangat dari kecik tu menjadi! Dulu, myra ade lah salah kan oven sbb lid macam tak airtight sbb tu byk product tak jadi (nampak tak tak nak kalah?) rupa rupanya sendiri tak tau teknik yang betul nak buat cake. Hamek, padan muka hang. sekarang diri sendiri malu, oven yang tak bersalah dapat hasilkan cake yang sodap!

Ade;ah jugak berangan, setiap kali shopping ummi asyik offer nak beli conventional oven, tapi myra tak ready lg sbb diploma pun tak bereh lagi. satu satu dulu, im not a multitask person. nasib baik myra slalu tolak, now tak rugi pape pun. sebab oven tu elok je sebenarnya.

Sejak sejak dah habis praktikal pulak, diri rasa seronok je nak buat ini itu. so for a start myra buat LEmon Cake. Ummi pesan suruh buat list ala ala MENU OF THE DAY. so myra bleh rancang hari ni, esok, lusa nak masak ape. Good idea jugak. buat masa ni, list yang dah buat agak banyak itemnya. and tengah fokus on muffins and cookies. hopefully semua dalam list berjaya dihasilkan!

exactly 8.10am my brother, Iliyas knocked my bedroom door. "kakak, ummi nak cakap," i opened the door and took the phone and shut it back. "hello," with my sleepy tone. "kakak bangun, kata ade final theory today. bangun awal and mandi and and freshen up. please kejut umair sekali, dia keje pagi hari ni," ummi was very thoughtful of waking me up. what would i do without her? :')

i then woke up and walk to my brothers room, he was still sleeping. i was so sleepy and i called him twice. "umair, bangun. kau keje pagi kan? bangun bangun," i failed to wake him up and walked back to my room and land my self on my mattress again. suddenly i woke up again it was 8.50am. i rushed to the bathroom. it felt like a real exam. if only i didn't sleep back, i could have done some last minute revision.

then after logging in, clicked on the assessment, i saw the 'start quiz' button and clicked it. and then nothing popped out. i got panicked. where the hell is the quiz? after several times re-logged in, and then only i realized the scroll button minimized. Oh okay, i just have to scroll it down. Boo me -.-"

after answering several, wait i meant all question (25 multiple choice, 25 true or false) TA-DAH! the results popped out. at first i wasn't happy with it and re-do it. and for the second time tthe result was less by 1 mark. now i know that its only up to that range that i could achieve. Alhamdulillah. the results resembles the effort. guess i didn't review hard enough. 

Next semester has to be much more serious. seriously.

Maternity Leave,

ASSALAMUALAIKUM

Please don't think like what i think you're thinking. because its totally what's going on. I am certainly am NOT pregnant ! I was just asked to accompany my cousin for 2 - 3 weeks after her giving birth to her second child. gotta help her take care of her first son. I was reluctant at first but when i thought back, she and my grandma have done enough for me when i was little, so now is the time for me to repay them.

Besides, i could learn how to take care of a newborn baby. though ummi warned me not to handle the baby for bath because newborns are fragile and i might not be ready yet. and seriously i have no guts yet to handle babies in the toilet. but to dress them up would be a pleasure of mine. teehee!

I believe during my stay at kampung will might be so much time to spare so i thought of buying my Law book in advance so i can read it. I failed one paper during my 3rd semester, so now i have to work hard and make sure i pass all papers for this 5th semester. ummi told me to set this in mind "study smart and make sure to tell yourself that you will graduate on time," I will hold on to those words. will try my very best for the semester to come. InsyaAllah i'll go through it well. Amin.
